In Children's and Family Ministries at Blanchard, our mission is to partner with families to help children know and worship God, learn to live like His Son, Jesus, and show His love to friends and others.
At Blanchard, we believe that children matter to God and are very important to the life of the church. We desire to support our children in their spiritual formation by encouraging their participation in our corporate worship. Understanding that children also need to learn at an age appropriate level we offer programs to meet their specific needs.
We strive to provide creative active learning that is critical in effective children's ministry. Experiential learning guides our children to understand God's truth and apply it in their everyday lives. We believe that entering into a relationship with Jesus Christ is a cumulative experience, not simply an event. Our ministry exposes children to Biblical principles which provide them with a foundation of understanding. This foundation gradually builds so that as the Holy Spirit moves within the hearts of children, they are able to acknowledge a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
