In our 40 years as a church, helping people act on God's Word and find support to do so have always been important to us. At Blanchard, we believe that the best spiritual growth takes place in smaller groups where people have a chance to talk about their spiritual journey, hear from others and pray together. And with over 600 adults now attending Blanchard, the most personal care will come in a smaller group where others know us by name.
Small Groups
One of the best ways to make a large church function like a family is through small groups. A small group is an intentional, ongoing, relational gathering in which three to twelve people love, learn, and serve others in Christ.
Men's Ministries
The goal of our Men's Ministry is to encourage and equip men to increasingly love God with their whole being and to love their neighbors as themselves (Great Commandment). We want to see the men of Blanchard, and the men whom we influence, become faithful followers of Christ at home, on the job, in the church, and in our communities. Our ultimate aim is to see God use us, the men of Blanchard, to expand and extend His Kingdom in Wheaton / Warrenville and to the utter most ends of the earth (Great Commission). To this end, we offer interested men the opportunity to engage in one-on-one mentoring relationships, participate in weekly small groups, be inspired and instructed through bi-monthly large group gatherings, and experience deeper fellowship and growth through our annual retreat
Women's Ministries
Our mission in Women's Ministries is to enable women to fully receive God's love, grow in Christ's likeness, to worship and serve Him with all our being. We want to provide a place for women to grow to intimately know Christ and each other. It is our desire that as women participate, they will deepen their ability to contribute fully to the building of God's kingdom.
People Care
We believe that all Christians are called to serve and are equipped by God for ministry within and outside the local church. Being representatives of Jesus Christ in this world we are to demonstrate compassion and sincere concern for those in need. Each of us has been placed in a relational and social network where we can impact others by discovering their needs and ministering God's grace.
