Recognizing the multitude of real needs throughout our community, the Blanchard Community Care Team seeks to identify ministry and volunteer opportunities where our church family can develop meaningful relationships -- through local chapters -- with individuals in need. The level of these relationships may vary based on an individual's skills, interests, and spiritual gifts.
With the support and participation of the congregation, the Community Care Team plans and coordinates a number of ministry activities which include:
- coordinating volunteers for the Albany Park Soup Kitchen
- sponsoring blood drives
- participating in the Outreach Community Center's December Christmas Store
- coordinating food and volunteers for PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)
